‘The White Lotus’ Season 4: Kumail Nanjiani Roped In For Mike White’s Blockbuster Show

“The White Lotus” by Mike White has built a loyal fan following all over the globe with its last three season. One of the highlights of the series is its inclusive and diverse casting, which brings together international, established, and emerging talent. The creator purposefully designs the anthology series to feature a new, diverse ensemble cast each season to explore themes of class, privilege, and social dynamics. As per Deadline, Pakistani-American actor Kumail Nanjiani, is among the new talent roped in for the series. The upcoming season is set in France.

Kumail Nanjiani, who began as stand-up comedian is also known for his acting chops. He has worked in shows like “Silicon Valley” and “Only Murders in the Building.” “The White Lotus” Season three was filmed in Thailand. BLACKPINK rapper Lisa was part of the series.
There are other notable additions like Chloe Bennet, Charlie Hall and Jarrad Paul. It seems Mike White wanted to film in a place that was not exactly a seaside area after the first three seasons being in Hawaii, Italy and Thailand. He had been doing his recce throughout last year. After that, he got busy writing the story for “The White Lotus” Season 4.
This is the first time, with Kumail Nanjiani, the series gets Asian representation.
