‘Prabhas is one of those quintessential good guys,’ says Jitin Gulati on his two-year-long association with ‘Fauzi’ co-star (EXCLUSIVE)
After joining the cast of the Akshaye Khanna-led Telugu mythological thriller “Mahakali,” Jitin Gulati is set to share screen space with “Baahubali” actor Prabhas in Hanu Raghavapudi’s upcoming film “Fauzi.” Slated to release on December 3, the film marks Gulati’s foray into Telugu cinema, and the actor says he couldn’t have asked for a more promising project or a better co-star to begin this turn in his career.
Having worked with Prabhas for nearly two years on the film, Gulati says the experience has only reinforced the superstar’s reputation in the industry. In fact, he found Prabhas to be even more generous and warm than he had been led to believe. “I had heard that he’s a very generous man and a good human being. Now I’ve had that experience firsthand. He is one of those quintessential good guys who is always there, is the sweetest, is very generous, and is ready to help anyone. We’ve been shooting for the last two years, and I have seen him helping so many people around him,” he says.
It’s not just the South superstar’s humility that has impressed Jitin. “Apart from his magnanimity and humility, I have also tasted Prabhas’ home-cooked food that he’s so well-known for. I think that’s the best mutton I’ve ever had; I’m not exaggerating,” he quips.

Gulati sums up his experience of working with him, saying, “It’s been an absolute pleasure to work with him, and I wish him bigger success than what he has right now because he really deserves it.”
Gulati has built his acting career steadily across film, television and streaming, after making the unusual switch from corporate banking to the entertainment industry. After being a part of Hindi films like “M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story” (2016), “Sheer Qorma” (2021), “Bambai Meri Jaan” (2023) “Sisak” (2017), “Sisak” (2017), “Children Of The Soil” (2020) and “Girls Will Be Girls” (2024). More recently seen in “Maa,” Gulati is now expanding into South Indian cinema with “Fauzi” and “Mahakali.”
