Project 007: Inside The Hunt For The Next James Bond
Who will step into the legendary tux and say the magic words “The name's Bond, James Bond”? That’s the million-dollar question dominating the internet. To see where public opinion stands, Variety India did a poll asking followers to choose between Damson Idris, Tom Francis,Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Jacob Elordi as the next potential 007. With Amazon MGM Studios taking over the creative reins and filmmaker Denis Villeneuve directing the next installment, excitement has reached fever pitch.
"The search for the next James Bond is underway," Amazon MGM Studios confirmed in a statement to Variety, adding that they are excited to share news with fans as soon as the time is right. The studio has enlisted legendary casting director Nina Gold, the mastermind behind the casts of "Game of Thrones," "The Crown," and "Conclave," to find their next leading man.

Last seen in “Fuze,” Aaron Taylor-Johnson has long been a rumored frontrunner, offering a blend of rugged action experience and classic British charm. He faces strong competition from Jacob Elordi, who was last seen in “Wuthering Heights” brings a younger, towering, and intensely charismatic presence to the table.
Meanwhile, Damson Idris, last seen in “F1” has captured immense fan interest with his sharp screen presence and acting chops needed to redefine the character.
