Yami Gautam Dhar’s ‘Nayyi Navelli’ Releases on October 16, To Clash with Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer 2’ and Dhanush’s ‘Om’
Yami Gautam Dhar is set to star in “Nayyi Navelli.” It is an Indian fantasy movie, backed by Amazon MGM Studios and Colour Yellow. The movie is set to hit the screens on October 16, during the period of Dussehra.
Balaji Mohan helms the project from a screenplay penned by Himanshu Sharma and Divya Nidhi Sharma. Aanand L Rai and Sharma are backing the film under Colour Yellow. The music is composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar.

The makers, along with Yami, shared the first poster of the film. Clad in a red saree with a disheveled hairdo, Yami is seen strangulating a monster with her saree. “Nayyi Navelli 𝙳̶𝚞̶𝚕̶𝚑̶𝚊̶𝚗̶ Daayan… This Dussehra, get ready for India’s very own fantasy family-entertainer! #NayyiNavelli #BhabhiDaayanHai In Cinemas 16 October 2026,” the caption reads.
The movie is also set to clash at the Box Office with Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer 2’ and Dhanush’s ‘Om.’ “Jailer 2” is set to release on October 15 while “Om - Chapter 1” is releasing on October 16, the same day as “Nayyi Navelli."
