Abhishek Banerjee cast as Villain Opposite Tiger Shroff, Plays A Haryanvi Gangster (EXCLUSIVE)
Abhishek Banerjee is set to add another menacing antagonist to his growing filmography. Variety India has learned that Banerjee has joined Tiger Shroff's upcoming feature as the film's primary villain. The actor will essay a Haryanvi gangster, marking yet another departure from the character-driven performances that have defined much of his career in recent years.
The casting also reunites Banerjee with the action genre after his turn as the antagonist Jitendra Pratap Singh in John Abraham's "Vedaa." This time, however, he is expected to face off directly against Shroff in what promises to be one of the film's central conflicts.
