‘King’: First Song From Shah Rukh Khan-Starrer to Drop on His Birthday (EXCLUSIVE)
Shah Rukh Khan is set to give fans a musical surprise on his 61st birthday. Variety India has learned that the first song from the superstar’s highly anticipated film, “King”, will be released on November 2 to coincide with his birthday. The track's launch will offer audiences their first glimpse into the film, with the official trailer scheduled to follow at a later date.
The announcement follows Khan’s interaction with fans on X in September, where he addressed a request to release a song from the movie. The actor revealed that Arijit Singh would be lending his voice to the lead track, noting that the singer was taking his time to perfect it. “Arijit Dada is a perfectionist,” Khan said at the time, explaining that the team was waiting for Singh to add the final touches before the official release.
"The team will step up the promotional campaign for the action thriller, serving as the second major asset to be released," a source revealed.
