Yash Makes a Big Move with ‘Toxic’; Turns Distributor in Karnataka (EXCLUSIVE)

Actor-producer Yash is expanding his footprint in the film business, with his banner Monster Mind Creations making its distribution debut in Karnataka alongside KVN Productions for “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups.”
The move marks a significant step for Yash beyond acting and production, as the team takes direct control of the film’s theatrical release in its home market. ‘Toxic’ is set for what is being billed as the biggest-ever release in Karnataka, with a record number of screens and Day One shows planned across the state, including an unprecedented rollout in Bengaluru.

Produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under the KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations banners, the film is written and directed by Geetu Mohandas. It has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English. It will release in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
With Monster Mind now adding distribution to its portfolio, ‘Toxic’ represents not just one of Karnataka’s most ambitious theatrical launches but also Yash’s latest move toward building a vertically integrated filmmaking and distribution ecosystem.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups” is a stylized action thriller set against the backdrop of a powerful underworld. The film marks Yash’s first release since the blockbuster “KGF” franchise and has generated immense anticipation for its blend of large-scale action, emotional drama and an impressive ensemble cast. The film stars Yash alongside Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth.
“Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups” releases worldwide on August 26.
