Emily Hampshire portrays the Artificial Intelligence (AI) system, E.D.I.T.H., in the Marvel series, “VisionQuest”. The show brings her back to the MCU following an appearance in “Spider-Man: Far From Home” in 2019. In an exclusive conversation about her latest series, Hampshire digs into her and her character’s AI search history. “In E.D.I.T.H.'s search history, you would probably find fun escapes or the most heightened, crazy way to do anything. She will take the path of most resistance.”

Of her own search history, she shares, “I'm always worried about my search history if I'm going to be honest. I'm really obsessed with murder documentaries. So I'm always searching about serial killers and how they do things. If anyone looked at my search history, they might think that I'm the murderer, but I'm just trying to figure out what they were thinking.”
The actress reveals if she would be open to assisting any other MCU character after Tony Stark and Spider-Man, “I think Ultron and E.D.I.T.H. would get into some very fun trouble.”

Answering in a heartbeat about the possibility of becoming besties with another machine, she expresses admiration for the 2008-film “WALL-E”. As to what they would be up to, she says, “I love WALL-E so much. I don't know why we haven't hung out before. I feel like maybe E.D.I.T.H. and WALL-E would get married. Actually, it would not only have fun but constantly be in danger in the mind space, really having some navigation difficulties.”
In the web series, Hampshire joins fellow AIs played by James Spader, Orla Brady, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and James D'Arcy in Vision’s (Paul Bettany) Mindspace as he deals with the possibility of having a son, while running for his life. The eight-episode show, “VisionQuest,” is streaming on Disney+ internationally and on JioHotstar in India.
