Suriya and Hombale Films Collaborate for a New Project
Suriya has teamed up with KGF and Kantara makers Hombale Films for a brand new project. The announcement comes after the success of Suriya’s recent film “Karuppu” (2026).

Taking to social media, Hombale Films praised Suriya and stated, “He built it. Frame by frame. Film by film. Fight by fight. Roles that bled truth. Characters that carried the weight of real lives. Interestingly, the movie will be directed by TJ Gnanavel, who is known for "Vettaiyan" (2024), "Jai Bhim" (2021) and more. The music for the movie is being composed by Sai Abhyankkar.
Apart from this film, Hombale Films is also working on its first Marathi-Hindi production, named “Yeto Ka Naay” in Marathi and “YKN - Pehla Vaar” in Hindi. The production company is also collaborating with Hrithik Roshan for a “a tale of grit, grandeur and glory.”

The movie has been revealed officially with a grand Muhurtha ceremony in Chennai. The event was attended by cast, crew and several prominent members of the film industry.
