‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Post-Credit Scene Explained
There is one golden rule every Marvel fan knows by heart: you never, ever get up the moment the credits begin to roll. Sitting through every single name is a sacred ritual we all follow, and “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” keeps that tradition alive and well.
So, do you need to stick around? The short answer is yes, though you will need a little patience.
First, let us talk about the mid-credits situation. If you are waiting for a mid-credits scene, you can sit back and simply enjoy the scenery. There is no mid-credits stinger this time around. Instead, the credits roll alongside beautiful, scenic footage of New York City and everyday New Yorkers going about their daily business. It is a nice visual touch, but it does not contain any hidden plot clues or future movie teasers.
The real surprise arrives all the way at the very end, right after the final Sony logo fades.

In a departure from the typical Marvel playbook, this post-credits scene does not feature any famous actors, surprising cameos or funny visual gags. Instead, the spotlight belongs entirely to a digital interface showing Ned’s crowdsourced Spider-Tracker app, which he built to keep tabs on Spider-Man's whereabouts around the city.
The app opens with a message stating that Spidey’s location is unknown. Suddenly, the map starts zooming out. It leaves Queens behind, tracks clear out of the United States and then shoots off Earth altogether. The screen glitches a couple of times as the camera pans across a seemingly empty stretch of outer space before the app finally displays two words: "location found."
Where exactly has our neighborhood web-slinger ended up? The app leaves that answer hanging in the stars. But right before the lights come up in the theater, the screen delivers that iconic, all-caps promise every fan loves to see: SPIDER-MAN WILL RETURN.
Tom Holland is officially set to swing back into action for “Avengers: Doomsday”, but that animated Spidey Tracker leaves room for wild speculation. Since no actual actor appears on screen, there is zero guarantee that the signal pinpoints Holland's Peter Parker rather than a web-slinger from elsewhere in the multiverse.
Could Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield make another heroic return after their epic team-up in “Spider-Man: No Way Home”? Is Marvel laying the groundwork for a massive deep-space collision in the next Avengers chapter? Or are we about to be introduced to a brand new Spider-Man variant that no one saw coming? The possibilities are endless, and the MCU multiverse is wide open.
