‘Ramayana’ to Release Internationally Two Days Before India, Producer Namit Malhotra Confirms
"Ramayana" will release internationally two days before its India opening, producer Namit Malhotra has confirmed.
The first part of Nitesh Tiwari's two-part epic is set to open in international markets on November 6, 2026, while the film will release in India on November 8, 2026, coinciding with Diwali. Malhotra confirmed the staggered release in a recent interview, explaining that the international release is being aligned with the Friday theatrical calendar.
The international release will see "Ramayana" arrive in overseas markets before its domestic debut, marking an unusual release strategy for one of India's most anticipated films of 2026.
