‘Don’t Trouble The Trouble’ Trailer Review: Fahadh Faasil Finds Himself In A Magical Mystery
“Don't Trouble the Trouble” introduces Fahadh Faasil as Suri, a street magician who knows exactly how to turn a trick into a living. He is clever, resourceful and always seems to have an escape route, much like the fox he is compared to in the trailer. But Suri's biggest problem begins when money and trouble arrive at his doorstep together, and he notices only the money.
Directed by Shashank Yeleti and presented by SS Rajamouli, the fantasy entertainer follows Suri after an unexpected encounter with a young girl named Divya, played by Ssara Palekar. Unlike Suri, whose magic is built on illusion and sleight of hand, Divya appears to possess powers that are very real. What starts as an ordinary encounter soon pulls Suri into a mystery that is far beyond anything his tricks can explain.

The trailer establishes Suri as someone who makes a living by convincing people that his illusions are genuine. His world changes when Divya accidentally causes chaos around her and eventually reveals that she is capable of extraordinary things. The premise gives the film an interesting contrast. Suri knows how to create the illusion of magic, while Divya seems to possess the real thing. As the two set out to uncover the mystery surrounding her parents, the trailer suggests that their journey will take them from street-level tricks into a much larger fantastical world.
There is also a playful dynamic between Suri and Divya, with the magician initially finding himself more troubled than he expected. The trailer's central idea seems to revolve around a simple warning: if you trouble the trouble, trouble troubles you. For Suri, that warning may come back to haunt him as his search for money turns into an unexpected mission to reunite a child with her parents.
One of the trailer's major highlights is Nandamuri Balakrishna's voice-over in the Telugu version. His narration incorporates his popular dialogue, giving the trailer an added dose of familiarity for Telugu audiences. The multilingual release gets its own star-powered voice-overs, with Mohanlal lending his voice to the Malayalam version and Kamal Haasan narrating the Tamil trailer.
"Don't Trouble the Trouble" also marks Fahadh Faasil's first lead role in a Telugu film. With Ssara Palekar at the centre of the film's fantasy element and Saurabh Sachdeva in a pivotal role, the trailer sets up a curious mix of street magic, supernatural powers and an emotional search for a family. With Kaala Bhairava composing the music, the film is set to arrive in theatres on October 2.
