CBFC Deletes Kissing Scene, Clears ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ With ‘UA 13+’ Certificate

However, the censor board mandated three specific modifications to clear the film for Indian cinema screens.
Primary among the visual edits was the complete deletion of a romantic kissing scene. Beyond removing the kiss visuals, the CBFC required audio and subtitle sanitization, muting and removing various strong words and objectionable language across the film's English soundtrack and subtitle tracks. Lastly, censors instructed the inclusion of a static anti-liquor health warning message superimposed on-screen during scenes showing alcohol consumption.
