Sai Pallavi’s ‘OM’ Teaser Reveals Her Character as Nithya Reddy, Film Gets November 20 Release Date
The makers of “OM” have released a teaser video introducing Sai Pallavi’s character, Nithya Reddy. The 1 minute and 43 seconds long video shows Sai Pallavi in a cop avatar. The release date of the movie has also been revealed as November 20.
In the beginning, Sai is introduced as, “She is Andhra Pradesh’s cadet officer. She used to be an assistant superintendent of our AP Police. Later, she went to CBI as an additional SP to work with INTERPOL.” The teaser shows her working as a responsible cop, starting an operation called “OM."

The production house shared the teaser with the caption, “A force that stands for justice. Introducing Sai Pallavi as Nithya Reddy. “OM” - Worldwide release on November 20.”
The movie’s release date was postponed some time back. While it was initially releasing on October 16, alongside “Jailer 2,” Dhanush shared a statement stating, “In times like these, shifting the release of a film comes with its own set of challenges. Our superstar, Rajinikanth sir, the man whom we have all admired and worshipped over the years has his film arriving on October 15th, just a day before ours. Out of immense respect for him, we have decided to postpone the release of our film, OM, to a later date.”
He also added, “At the same time, we will not be arriving for Diwali this year either, as Suriya sir's film has already been announced for the same date. In all fairness, they announced their date first, and we strongly believe that big films should have a mutual understanding and respect each other's decisions, keeping the larger welfare of cinema and the industry in mind. We will announce our new release date very soon."
Alongside Sai Pallavi and Dhanush, “OM: Chapter 1” features Mammootty, Sreeleela, Naseeruddin Shah and Indrans. The movie is directed by Rajkumar Periasamy.
