‘The Vvaan’ Box Office Prediction: Sidharth Malhotra-Tamannaah Bhatia’s Film Poised For A Fair Start

After delivering theatrical underperformers like “Thank God,” “Yodha,” and “Param Sundari,” Sidharth Malhotra is gearing up for his upcoming project, “The Vvaan,” arriving this Friday.

The promotional assets for the fantasy-adventure flick have received a decent response, paving the way for a fair box-office opening. According to analytics platform Recobee.AI, “The Vvaan” is expected to earn ₹5 crore on its first day, giving the film a reasonable starting point. However, it will rely heavily on word of mouth to build momentum and reach a healthy total in its first weekend.  
The film was supposed to release on August 28, but the makers postponed it to avoid a box office clash with Yash’s “Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups.” The North Indian market might contribute significantly to collections as the folklore tale is based on that part of the country.

“The Vvaan” is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor and Arunabh Kumar under their production banners, Balaji Telefilms Ltd and TVF Motion Pictures, in association with 11:11 Productions. The film stars Maniesh Paul, Sunil Grover, Shweta Tiwari and Anup Soni in key roles. Sidharth Malhotra was last seen in “Param Sundari,” opposite Janhvi Kapoor, while Tamannaah Bhatia appeared in the Prime show “Do You Wanna Partner.”

Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Arunabh Kumar, “The Vvaan” blends mystery and forest lore. While Manu Anand serves as the visual director and cinematographer, with Nitin Baid as editor, the film’s music is composed by Vishal Mishra, Amit Trivedi, Tanishk Bagchi and Sam C. S. The background score of the film is composed by Sandeep Shirodkar.
