‘The Traitors’ Season 2 Sets August 13 Premiere; Karan Johar Returns in Date Announcement Teaser
The official date announcement video of the second season of "The Traitors" has been released. The video shows Karan Johar sharing his notes on the first season and its contestants, while asking the new contestants to brace themselves.
The teaser hints at the return of deception with lines like, "The traitors are coming back," "Yahan trust is rare and dhokha is everywhere," and "The dhokha is back." Moreover, Mallika Sherawat and Munawar Faruqui have been revealed as the first two contestants of the show. The makers have kept the other contestants and details regarding the new season under wraps. But they have confirmed that “The Traitors Season 2” will premiere on August 13 on Prime Video, with fresh episodes releasing every Thursday.

Throughout the competition, contestants were challenged to form alliances and uncover the secret traitors hiding among them. As they navigated missions and successive eliminations, they battled for the cash prize. The inaugural season concluded with Uorfi Javed and Nikita Luther emerging victorious, splitting the Rs 70.5 lakh prize.

The series is produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, Dharma Productions’ digital content studio, in collaboration with All3Media International, which oversees the Indian version of the BAFTA and Emmy-winning format created by IDTV. “The Traitors” has now been adapted in more than 40 territories worldwide.
