“Yagaween” is upon us. “Yaga,” the supernatural horror series starring Noah Reid, Carrie-Anne Moss and “Heated Rivalry” heartthrob Hudson Williams, has arrived to impressive reviews. Variety India has learned that the series will stream in India exclusively on Lionsgate Play.

After a preview screening at the Toronto International Film Festival in September this year, “Yaga” had a two-episode premiere on October 23, 2026, on Crave in Canada and AMC+ in the United States. The series, comprising eight 30-minute episodes, will now drop weekly episodes and end with a two-episode finale on November 27, 2026.

When will ‘Yaga’ be available to stream in India?

“Yaga” will be available to stream on Lionsgate Play for Indian viewers from November 6, 2026 onward.

Even for “Heated Rivalry,” which streamed weekly on Crave Canada in December 2025, Indian audiences had to wait a full two months before the global phenomenon was available to stream in the country. With “Yaga,” even though the chasm seems to have been bridged a little, it still looks like Indian audiences will have to let the first three episodes arrive before they get to watch it, as the fourth episode will stream on November 6.

“Yaga” is described as a labyrinth of enigmatic suspects and ancient magic, and is shot in Victoria, British Columbia. It follows private investigator Charlie Rapp (Noah Reid), who arrives in a small coastal town to investigate the disappearance of a young fisheries heir, Henry Park, played by Hudson Williams. Rapp finds himself at odds with the local detective, Sergeant Carson (Clark Backo) and is intrigued by a charismatic university professor, Dr. Katherine Hargrove (Moss), who has a taste for younger men.

Created by Kat Sandler and inspired by a play she wrote in 2019 of the same name, “Yaga” is based on the Slavic folklore legend of the Baba Yaga, a witch who in some stories is known to eat children and in others to help the hero. The series is directed by David Frazee and Rachel Talalay and also stars Sheila McCarthy, Megan Follows, Patrick Gilmore, Ezra Franky, Sam Krochmal, Emilija Baranac, Katherine Isabelle, Georgia Acken, Anisa Harris and Hiro Kanagawa.
