‘The Paradise’ Box Office: Nani Starrer Sets Multiple Opening Day Records
Nani and Kayadu Lohar-starrer “The Paradise” opened to a strong response at the box office on its first day. While the action-thriller has drawn mixed reviews and may see a dip in collections, it set several records at the ticket windows on its opening day.
Nani’s Highest Opener
The film raked in ₹46.25 crore (including paid previews) in India and ₹76.90 crore globally, making it Nani’s biggest opener domestically and worldwide. His previous best was “Hit 3,” which had collected ₹37.81 crore on its opening day.
Third-Highest Telugu Opener of 2026
“The Paradise” has emerged as the third-biggest Telugu opener of the year at the global box office, surpassing Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara’s “Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu,” which opened to ₹70.60 crore. The top two spots are occupied by Ram Charan’s “Peddi” (₹110.49 crore) and Prabhas’ “The Raja Saab” (₹100.20 crore).
Sixth-Biggest Indian Opener of 2026
Among the top Indian openers of the year, “The Paradise” currently ranks sixth, behind Ranveer Singh’s “Dhurandhar: The Revenge” (₹236.63 crore), Yash’s “Toxic” (₹137 crore), Ram Charan’s “Peddi” (₹110.49 crore), Prabhas’ “The Raja Saab” (₹100.20 crore) and Thalapathy Vijay’s “Jana Nayagan” (₹77.78 crore).
Kayadu Lohar’s Biggest Opener
Apart from Nani, the film is also Kayadu Lohar’s biggest opener. It has surpassed her previous best, “Dragon,” which collected ₹12.23 crore on its first day.

Interestingly, director Srikanth Odela has also recorded his biggest opening with “The Paradise”, surpassing his previous collaboration with Nani, “Dasara”, which collected ₹36.28 crore worldwide on its opening day.
With the film also facing stiff competition from “Avengers Endgame: Encore,” it will be interesting to see how it fares outside its home states.
Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and Ishan Saksena, under Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Cinemas and IVY Entertainment, the film also stars Mohan Babu, Sonali Kulkarni and Raghav Juyal in key roles.
