‘The Paradise’ Box Office Prediction: Nani Eyes His Biggest Opener With Srikanth Odela’s Action Thriller
After multiple delays, Nani’s “The Paradise” is finally set to arrive in cinemas tomorrow. The big-budget action thriller has been generating buzz, from its first promotional asset to its energetic songs and intriguing teaser.
The film has received a thunderous response in its advance sales and is expected to become its lead star’s biggest opener. According to Chennai-based trade tracker Ramesh Bala, “The Paradise” is expected to gross around ₹35 crore in the domestic market and ₹15 crore from international circuits, taking its projected worldwide opening to ₹50 crore. If it achieves these numbers, it would surpass the opening-day collections of “Hit 3” (₹37.81 crore) and “Dasara” (₹36.28 crore), becoming Nani’s biggest global opener.

The film has already raked in close to ₹19 crore in its advance sales, with the first-day share (September) contributing close to ₹10 crore. While the film has built great momentum in the Telugu-speaking states, it faces tough competition from “Avengers: Endgame — Encore” in the rest of the country.
With “The Paradise” dominating in its home market, it would be interesting to see how it fares against Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia’s “The Vvaan” in the northern markets.
“The Paradise” marks the reunion of director Srikanth Odela and Nani after “Dasara”. The film also stars Kayadu Lohar, Sonali Kulkarni, Mohan Babu and Raghav Juyal in key roles. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music, while GK Vishnu and Naveen Nooli have handled the cinematography and editing, respectively. It is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas.
Besides Telugu, the film will be released in dubbed versions in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Bengali, Spanish and English across domestic and international markets.
