Sobhita Dhulipala Calls ‘Vettuvam’ Her ‘Best Work Till Date’

Sobhita Dhulipala is excited about her upcoming Tamil project, directed by Pa Ranjith. Talking about “Vettuvam,” which also stars Arya and Dinesh and is produced by Ranjith’s production house Neelam Productions, Sobhita tells Variety India, “I believe it’s my best work till date. It’s an extraordinary film, and I’m very excited for people to watch it and see me in it. I will be seen in a crazy avatar. The film has action and dance, and it’s going to be an apocalyptic movie. It’s set across different time periods, has high drama and high adrenaline.”

Sobhita, whose first Hindi film was “Raman Raghav 2.0” in 2016, made her Hollywood debut as Sita in Dev Patel’s “Monkey Man” in 2024.
The actor has worked with the likes of Anurag Kashyap in “Raman Raghav 2.0” and Mani Ratnam in “Ponniyin Selvan:1.” So, does she have any other directors on her wish list? She replies, “I don’t think that way. I think along the lines of what are the characters that really move me.”
