Yash’s ‘Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-Ups’ Gets Intimacy and Violence Cuts, Several F-Bombs Defused in Final Censor Certification
'Rocking Star' Yash's "Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups" has landed its final censor certification and going by the latest certificate, the 194-minute runtime has had a few seconds shaved off with the 'A' rating firmly in place. The Revising Committee of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given their final suggestions and recommended modifications for the film's main Kannada version, which has accompanying English subtitles. The applied runtime will now sit at 193.56 minutes. Here's a complete roundup of the changes suggested.
Insertions
The Board has insisted on "a disclaimer with a voiceover on the nature of the story" to be inserted along with the addition of smoking as well as anti-drug abuse cautions.
Mutings
Perhaps, an overabundance of caution exercised by the Board is the replacement of the word "Motherfucker" in the English subtitle and the suggested reduction by 75% o the word "Fucking" and the dialogue "You want to fuck?" muted.

Removals and reductions
Accounting for 34 seconds of actual runtime cuts is the chopping of a scene where a child is committing murder, another where there is a piston pumping scene and a reduction of 30% of physical intimacy scenes throughout the film. Moreover, all scenes with "Raaya with women on bed" have been suggested to be reduced by 50%.
Other changes include a "killing by electric saw, a couple of scenes of "smoking ganja," the depiction of a "Christian Father [priest] drenched in blood" and an "assassins entry in nun's dress with cross" with the suggestion that the cross be removed, possibly keeping religious sentiments in mind.
