Actor and singer Cha Eun Woo is planning his post-military K-Drama return. As per a report on August 11, the K-Pop star has been cast as the lead in the upcoming show “Seorabeol Knife”. Currently dubbed the “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty 2,” it is being posed as a potential story set in the same universe as the 2025 series starring YoonA and Lee Chae Min in the main roles.

Cha Eun Woo is expected to lead “Seorabeol Knife,” which is set in the same worldview as “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty,” with a different premise. PD Jang Tae Yoo is said to be returning to helm the project. The show is a culinary romance drama that shares the world with the tvN K-Drama, with no details about the female lead being revealed so far. In response to the casting report, Fantagio told Sports Kyunghyang, "Seorabeol Knife is one of the projects Cha Eun Woo is considering as a next work."

Cha Eun Woo is currently serving in the military as an active-duty soldier in the ROKA band and is scheduled to be discharged on January 27, 2027. He was last seen in the comedy drama “The WONDERfools” alongside Park Eun Bin, Kim Hae Sook, Choi Dae Hoon, Im Seong Jae, and Son Hyun Joo.

Meanwhile, “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” managed to break into an impressive performance with a peak viewership rating of 17.1% (as per Nielsen Korea) last year. It became Lee Chae Min’s breakthrough project and increased his global popularity.
