‘Heated Rivalry’ to Shoot Season 2, Season 3 and a Scott-Kip-Focused Film Back-to-Back
“Heated Rivalry” fans can rejoice as it seems that, unlike the previously confirmed Season 2 only, the show will continue to run for one more season, which will be followed by a film, as per a DEADLINE report. While the third instalment was long rumored, the addition of a new movie seems to be exciting news.
Starring Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie in the lead roles, “Heated Rivalry” became one of the most viral shows to come out of 2025. And as per the latest reports, the production will return with two six-episode seasons. These instalments are being filmed back-to-back, something actor Dylan Walsh, who plays David Hollander, Shane's father in the series, previously let slip during a livestream.

Filming for the shows is expected to wrap up in late November or early December, followed by a standalone film shot through the end of the year. While the Canadian streamer Crave has yet to confirm details, reports say the movie will be either a Christmas special or a holiday-themed episode, with plans to release it in theaters sometime at the end of next year.
Shane Hollander (Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Storrie) are reportedly not leading the standalone project, with Scott Hunter (François Arnaud) and Christopher "Kip" Grady (Robbie G.K.) being the central characters of the special. It has been suspected that the film will be based on “Game Changers” writer Rachel Reid’s short story “Merry Christmas, Scott and Kip!,” which is about the couple’s first Christmas together.
