K-Pop boy group NCT DREAM has announced its plans to continue as a sextet. As announced on Thursday morning by the Korean entertainment company, all six members of the team have renewed their contracts with SM Entertainment on the occasion of the group’s 10th debut anniversary. Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung have done so recently, following member Haechan, who did it previously alongside fellow NCT 127 members.

Earlier this year, the oldest member of the bunch, Mark, officially announced his exit from NCT DREAM, NCT 127, and SM Entertainment on April 8, 2026, after completing his 10-year contract with them. He chose to go solo and is said to be working on new music now.

The group’s label shared, “We are pleased to announce that Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung have renewed their exclusive contracts with SM Entertainment, following Haechan, who previously renewed his contract. This decision reflects the strong bond and mutual trust the members have built over the years as well as their shared commitment to continuing their journey together as NCT DREAM.”

Calling the team “one of K-pop’s leading acts,” they emphasized the group’s youthful energy and passion, turning “countless dreams into reality”. Moreover, they also thanked the fans for their support and congratulated the members for their achievements.

NCT DREAM debuted in 2016 with the digital single “Chewing Gum”. The group is currently prepping for their 10th anniversary celebrations. They will conduct a fan meeting called “THE SWEET DREAM HOTEL,” which will take place at Inspire Arena in Incheon, South Korea on August 22 and 23.
