Five new posters from “Avengers: Doomsday” have been unveiled, offering a closer look at Doctor Doom ahead of the film’s theatrical release. The posters build anticipation for the upcoming Marvel film, which is set to arrive in Indian cinemas on December 17.

The posters show Doctor Doom in his villainous avatar as he takes a distinctly darker, more intimidating approach. It places Doom at the centre of the film's visual identity. Unlike a conventional ensemble poster, this one gives the villain the entire spotlight, presenting him as a formidable force.

In a video message addressed to Indian fans, the actors extend their festive wishes while teasing the film’s darker turn. “Namaste India! What we love about Diwali is it marks the closing of one chapter and beginning of another…that’s something we know a lot about, except instead of moving from dark to light, I think it might be going in the other direction…Happy Diwali and we will see you in Avengers: Doomsday,” they said, with Evans adding, “You bet!"

Directed by the Russo Brothers, “Avengers: Doomsday” brings together heroes from three distinct universes as they face an existential threat. The ensemble of the film includes Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Paul Rudd, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Wyatt Russell, Channing Tatum, Simu Liu, Ian McKellen, Tom Hiddleston, James Marsden, Patrick Stewart, Joseph Quinn, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Letitia Wright, Lewis Pullman, Kelsey Grammer, Kathryn Newton, Danny Ramirez, Winston Duke, Alan Cumming, Hannah John-Kamen, Rebecca Romijn, Alex Livinalli, Mabel Cadena and Tenoch Huerta Mejía.
