Kannada superstar Yash unveiled the trailer of “Toxic” last evening in Bengaluru. It is one of the marquee Indian films of 2026. “Toxic” is the story of a father and son loaded with action, drama, romance and gritty atmospherics. After the success of the “K.G.F” movies, Yash has become one of India’s biggest pan-India stars. “Toxic” will be released across 4,000 screens in North India and might rake in opening numbers close to ₹30 crore net on the first day. The film has immense potential to earn ₹100 crore on its opening weekend.

According to the box office tracker, Venky Box Office, the makers are also gearing up for a big international release. The premiere of “Toxic" will happen in the USA on August 25. It seems the price of a ticket for early shows is $23 for XD and PLF formats. The standard formats are priced at $20. The bookings for “Toxic” are going well. The shows will start at 6PM EST, and the early reviews from the US will play a key role in determining the weekend figures in India.
In the meantime, news is emerging that the makers are yet to close in on the sale of digital and satellite rights of “Toxic.” Yash and KVN Productions’ have set a high demand, which is yet to find takers from streaming and TV space. The producers are still hoping for the best possible deal but this development has generated interest in industry observers.
“Toxic” also stars Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in main roles. Yash is playing a double role in Geetu Mohandas’ period gangster film set in Goa in the 1960s.
