‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’ Season 2: Aryan Khan’s Series to Go on Floors in March 2027 (EXCLUSIVE)
“The Ba***ds of Bollywood” is heading back into production. Variety India has learned that the second season of Aryan Khan’s Netflix series is scheduled to go on floors in March 2027, with all the recurring cast members from the first season set to return.
The second season will reunite the principal ensemble that anchored the first chapter, including Lakshya as Aasmaan Singh, Sahher Bambba as Karishma Talvar, Bobby Deol as Ajay Talvar, Raghav Juyal as Parvaiz and Anya Singh as Sanya. Mona Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Manish Chaudhari, Rajat Bedi and the other recurring players are also expected to reprise their respective roles. The first season featured the ensemble across its seven episodes.
The March 2027 production timeline comes as the makers work on the next chapter of the series, which marked Aryan Khan’s directorial and writing debut. Khan created and directed the show and co-wrote it with Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan. Gauri Khan produces the series under Red Chillies Entertainment.

The first season, which premiered on September 18, 2025, followed Aasmaan, an ambitious outsider attempting to make his way through Bollywood, as his career becomes entangled with the industry’s power structures, rivalries and family dynamics. The seven-episode series mixed satire, comedy, drama and action while using the film industry as the backdrop for its story.
Season 2’s story details are being kept under wraps at this stage. The development comes after writer Bilal Siddiqi confirmed in August that discussions were on for a second season of the Netflix show, while stopping short of confirming that the show had officially been renewed. Variety India can now report that the project is moving towards production, with filming lined up for March 2027.
The first season ended with Aasmaan and Karishma attempting to elope with Parvaiz’s help, while Ajay pursued them, before a revelation changed the trajectory of the story. With the recurring ensemble returning, the second season will pick up with the same core players, although details of the narrative and production schedule beyond the March start remain under wraps.
