The teaser for "Haiwaan" dropped today, pulling audiences straight into Priyadarshan’s dark and dangerous world. Mysterious, unsettling and packed with intrigue, the edge of the seat thriller signals the arrival of a deliciously villainous era on the big screen.

The teaser leans heavily into a darkly atmospheric mood, playing with sinister silhouettes and looming shadows that leave you thoroughly rattled from the very first frame. Visuals stay deliberately cryptic, teasing the viewer's imagination as we catch ominous shapes of Saif Ali Khan playing a blind man without ever fully getting a clear look at his face. Mystery deepens further when Akshay Kumar makes a chillingly fleeting appearance in just a single scene, instantly raising the stakes and leaving a lasting impact. Director Priyadarshan masterfully constructs a sense of impending dread, making expert use of light, dark and quiet tension. Amplifying this unsettling visual landscape is a hauntingly eerie background score that works alongside the relentless, slow tick of a clock, turning every passing second into a nerve-wracking countdown. By keeping its narrative secrets tightly locked away, the teaser masterfully builds palpable suspense and mood without revealing its hand, making it a delightfully tense viewing experience.

Keeping its biggest cards firmly under wraps, the teaser leaves audiences guessing about what lies beneath the surface. With Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan stepping into an unpredictable world where appearances can be deceptive, "Haiwaan" sets the stage for an electrifying face off.

Adding to its powerful lead pairing, "Haiwaan" also features a stellar ensemble cast including Boman Irani, Saiyami Kher and Shriya Pilgaonkar in pivotal roles.

An official Hindi remake of Priyadarshan's 2016 Mohanlal starrer Malayalam hit "Oppam", the film releases theatrically on 11th September 2026.
