‘Avengers: Endgame: Encore’ Box Office: MCU Biggie Eyes Biggest Re-Release Opening in India
“Avengers: Endgame,” set to return to theatres as “Avengers: Endgame — Encore,” is off to a roaring start with advance bookings. The Hollywood blockbuster is now eyeing the biggest opening for a re-release in India.
According to analytics platform Recobee.AI, the superhero film has sold over 70,500 tickets worth ₹2.65 crore so far. With a few more days before its arrival on Friday, it will cross the one lakh-ticket mark, registering insane collections as a re-release. Interestingly, the film might prove to be tough competition for prominent Indian releases like “The Paradise” and “Vvaan.”The re-release could also help Marvel achieve a significant box office milestone, as “Avengers: Endgame,” with $2,799,439,100, is currently the second-highest worldwide grosser of all time after “Avatar,” at $2,923,710,708, and is $124,271,608 (₹1,179.88 crore) behind the James Cameron directorial. And with the thunderous response across the globe, it has all the potential to topple “Avatar.”

Apart from the standard formats, the re-release will also screen in premium formats including IMAX, Marvel Studios Presented In Infinity Vision, 4DX, MX4D, SCREENX, Dolby Vision, HDR BARCO and ICE.
