‘Avengers: Doomsday’: Chris Hemsworth Fuels Hype as Marvel Announces Nine-City Global Tour
Marvel Studios is taking “Avengers: Doomsday” around the world. The studio has announced a nine-city global tour ahead of the release of its much-anticipated superhero film, with Las Vegas, São Paulo, Gold Coast, Rome, London, Seoul, Shanghai, Toronto and Los Angeles featuring on the itinerary. Chris Hemsworth, who reprises his role as Thor in the film, added to the excitement by resharing the announcement on X with the caption, “Doomsday is coming.”
The announcement was revealed through Marvel Studios’ Doomsday Clock, which has been counting down to the film’s theatrical release. The global tour will begin in Las Vegas before travelling across the nine cities, with Los Angeles serving as its final stop. However, the studio is yet to announce individual tour dates, the nature of the events or which members of the cast will participate.
The announcement has given fans another reason to look forward to the film's promotional campaign, particularly as “Avengers: Doomsday” brings together characters from different corners of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the wider Marvel franchise. The film is expected to unite familiar faces from the Avengers, Fantastic Four and X-Men universes as they confront a common threat.
