‘Alliance’ Finalist Ruhee Dosani: ‘India Is A Great Place For Digital Creators’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Digital creator Ruhee Dosani who made her debut in the reality TV space with “Alliance” ended up as one of the finalists on the show. She reveals that she was not initially keen to come on board for a reality show. She says “But then I was like, it's a game. And then I was just like, you know what? Why do I say no to everything? Let me just try and give it a shot. And I wanted a social detox. And that's why I said yes.” 

The Indian reality TV space has been actively roping in digital creators/influencers for shows across platforms. “Bigg Boss” is one of them. Dosani says, “I don’t think ‘Bigg Boss’ is the kind of show I would like to take part in. I am less into drama and more into games, stunts and tasks. Anything, task or fun-related I would go for it."

Dosani feels moving back to India was the best decision career-wise. She is hopeful of more work opportunities coming her way in the coming months. She says, “Since the time I have moved to India, it's been great. When it comes to the creator economy, Mumbai and India in general, is a great place. I feel moving back to India was the best decision. I feel like with so many opportunities, people should open up and do more than creating content.” 

She says that she is going to be friends with Mini Mathur, Aly Goni, Seema Sajdeh, Agu Stanley Chiedozie, Bali and Zaid Darbar in the future. 

Opening up on her bond with Mathur, she says, “I am not going to lie. When I met her and we spent a week together, I told her, if I don't win, I want you to win the show. And the feelings were quite mutual. And Mini being Mini, the way she played, I have immense respect for her. The feelings are mutual. The love is mutual. And I'm just very happy that she won the season.”
