‘Alliance’ Season 1: Mini Mathur Crowned Winner
Mini Mathur has won the inaugural season of Prime Video's reality competition series "Alliance," emerging victorious after weeks of strategic gameplay in a format built around shifting alliances, social maneuvering and elimination challenges.
Hosted by Kunal Kemmu, "Alliance" marked Prime Video's entry into the social strategy reality space. The series brought together 16 celebrity contestants who were tasked with building alliances while navigating physical, mental and social challenges in a game where loyalties were constantly tested.
Mathur steadily established herself as one of the competition's strongest players over the course of the season, surviving multiple twists and changing power dynamics to ultimately clinch the title. She prevailed over a celebrity lineup that included Aly Goni, Kushal Tandon, Sohail Khan, Daisy Shah, Nikhil Chinapa, Ruhee Dosani, Zaid Darbar, Niti Taylor and others.

Premiering in June, "Alliance" distinguished itself from traditional Indian reality shows by placing greater emphasis on strategy than audience popularity. Contestants began the game in pairs before the format gradually shifted toward individual play, forcing them to constantly renegotiate relationships as the competition progressed. Mathur's victory adds another chapter to a career spanning more than two decades across television hosting, acting and digital content. She is widely known for hosting shows including "Indian Idol," "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" and "The Fabric of India," and now adds a reality competition title to her résumé.
The finale brings the first season of "Alliance" to a close, with the series expanding Prime Video's unscripted slate through a format that blends competitive gameplay with social strategy.
