Vijay Deverakonda has shared an intriguing update on social media, reposting one of filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s older posts about the then 7 year anniversary of their movie “Arjun Reddy.”

Now Deverakonda shared it, stating, “9 years now. [heart emoticon] Next year we shall meet again. In the cinema halls. With love, Arjun.” The post has garnered curiosity amongst fans, who are now looking forward to a reunion of the cast and makers of "Arjun Reddy."

While Deverakonda has remained further tightlipped about the plans, Reddy Vanga, a while back, shared that they are working on releasing an extended cut of the 2017 movie. “Vijay Deverakonda and I are trying to bring back Arjun Reddy with an extended version for its 10th anniversary. He needs to dub for just 2-3 days. I, on the other hand, need to sit and work on it for 15-20 days.” If the extended cut arrives as planned, it could give fans a chance to revisit the film with previously unseen footage.

Plans are on motion, but the official announcement is yet to happen. It is also not known whether the two are reuniting for another project. The update has further fuelled speculation that the duo could have something special planned for the film’s milestone anniversary.

On the professional front, Deverakonda is busy preparing for the release of “Ranabaali,” he has also announced another movie with “Hi Nanna” director Shouryuv. Reddy Vanga, on the other hand, is working on “Spirit,” an action drama starring Prabhas and Triptii Dimri.
