From Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna To Rashmika Mandanna And Vijay Deverakonda: A Star-Studded Lineup Of Films Headed Your Way

From slick action entertainers to sports dramas and fantasy flicks, the Telugu film industry’s A-listers have been busy juggling multiple projects. As the year inches toward the halfway-mark, Variety India brings Telugu movie buffs up to speed with what the stars have lined up for the second half of 2026, next year and even 2028! 

NAGARJUNA 

King 100: (Also, Lottery King, both tentative titles): This is Nagarjuna’s 100th film. The action drama is directed by Ra Karthik and features Tabu, Aishwarya Rajesh and Sushmitha Bhatt in lead roles. This film is slotted for a January 15, 2027 (Sankranthi) release. 

CHIRANJEEVI 

Vishwambhara: This socio-fantasy film, directed by Mallidi Vassishta, has Trisha Krishnan as the female lead. The movie is expected to be released on July 10. 

Chiranjeevi Hanuman: The Eternal: A mythological fantasy directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Rajesh Mapuskar, it will be released later this year.  

Mega 158: This gangster action movie, directed by Bobby Kolli, is currently under production. Priyamani plays the female lead. It is expected to be release, early 2027. 

ChiruOdela (Tentative title): Shooting for this violent drama, directed by Srikanth Odela, is expected to go on floors soon. 

RAM CHARAN 

Peddi: A pan-Indian rural sports drama directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The film with Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead is coming to theaters on June 4, 2026. 

RC17 (Tentative title): Directed by Sukumar, this slick urban drama is likely to begin production in June, and its release date will be announced later. 

JR NTR 

Dragon: A gritty action spectacle directed by Prashanth Neel, this film is likely to hit screens on June 11, 2027. 

VIJAY DEVERAKONDA 

Ranabaali: Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, this period action-drama co-stars Rashmika Mandanna and has been scheduled to release on September 11, 2026. 

Rowdy Janardhana: Directed by Ravi Kiran Kola, this action-drama, starring Keerthy Suresh, is scheduled for a December 2026 release. 

VDxShouryuv: A newly announced collaboration, this currently under-production film will be directed by Shouryuv of “Hi Nanna” fame and will be up for release early to mid-2027. 

ALLU ARJUN 

Pushpa 3: The Rampage: This franchise film with Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead will be directed by Sukumar and is planned for a 2028 release. 

Raaka: This Atlee Kumar-directed Telugu sci-fi action film also stars Deepika Padukone and is looking at a release late next year. 

AA23: This big-budget collaboration with director Lokesh Kanagaraj is currently under production and is likely to be released next year. 

NAGA CHAITANYA 

Vrushakarma: A dark mythical thriller directed by Karthik Varma Dandu with Meenaakshi Chaudhary and Sparsh Shrivastava as co-stars. This film has been scheduled for a 2026 release.

RASHMIKA MANDANNA 

Ranabaali: A period action drama, directed by Rahul Sankrityan, co-starring Vijay Deverakonda. 

Mysaa: This emotional action thriller, directed by Rawindra Pulle, will be released this year.

Raaka: An action film starring Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone, directed by Atlee Kumar.

Pushpa 3: The Rampage: The popular franchise with Allu Arjun in the lead will be directed by Sukumar. It is currently in the pre-production stage. 

SAMANTHA RUTH PRABHU 

Maa Inti Bangaram: This action-family drama, directed by B.V. Nandini Reddy, is scheduled for release on June 19, 2026.
