While the coming together of Jammwal and Shroff, backed by T-Series, is expected to be a major draw for action-film audiences, the former believes the film needs more than two action stars to make an impact. For him, finding the right filmmaker is crucial to taking the project beyond the action set pieces. He explains, “But we need a director who surpasses everything that we have experienced with the directors we have already worked with. We are only looking for a director who can really take action to the next level with an emotion, with a story and use the two of us.”
Jammwal wants the collaboration to push the boundaries of how action is presented in Indian cinema. He also suggests that the film is being developed with an emphasis on combining large-scale action with a strong narrative core.
