Nani Confirms No Trailer for ‘The Paradise’ Before September 24 Release
Nani’s “The Paradise” will arrive in cinemas without a conventional theatrical trailer. The actor confirmed that the makers have decided against releasing a trailer before the film’s September 24 theatrical release, choosing instead to keep their focus on completing the film and delivering the strongest possible final product.
Speaking at a press meet on Friday, Nani said the decision was not taken because the film already has enough buzz. Instead, the team felt that creating the kind of trailer they wanted would require key members of the film’s crew to step away from their ongoing work on the movie.
“I think there won’t be a trailer for 'The Paradise',” Nani said, while explaining that he personally would have liked to put together a good trailer for the film. However, he added that the movie itself had to take priority at this stage.

“If you ask whether the trailer or the movie is more important at this point… under unavoidable circumstances—even though I personally don’t like it and really want to cut a good trailer—the entire team collectively made a decision. There will be no trailer for 'The Paradise',” he said.
Nani also clarified that the decision was not based simply on the existing hype around “The Paradise”. The film has already generated curiosity through its teaser, songs and promotional material, but the actor stressed that the team did not want to take the audience’s interest for granted.
According to Nani, putting together an “outstanding” trailer at this stage would require director Srikanth Odela, music composer Anirudh Ravichander and other members of the team to put aside their ongoing work and dedicate several days to the promotional cut. The team ultimately decided that their time would be better spent on the film itself.
The decision leaves much of “The Paradise” under wraps ahead of its theatrical release. Directed by Srikanth Odela, who previously collaborated with Nani on “Dasara”, the film is set in 1980s Secunderabad and follows Jadal, a man who rises against the oppression faced by his community. Nani has also described the film as an emotional story centred on the relationship between his character and his mother, played by Sonali Kulkarni, alongside its larger themes of resistance and justice.
Kayadu Lohar plays the female lead, while the cast also includes Raghav Juyal, Mohan Babu and Sampoornesh Babu. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music.
The film’s director has also revealed that the final cut runs for 2 hours and 49 minutes.
“The Paradise” is currently scheduled to release in theatres on September 24, 2026, with the makers having recently reaffirmed the date amid speculation over a possible delay.
