Mohanlal And Director Dileesh Pothan Team Up For The Highly-Anticipated ‘Nedumkandam Miracle’
The long-awaited collaboration between superstar Mohanlal and acclaimed director Dileesh Pothan has been officially announced. Titled “Nedumkandam Miracle”, the film is produced by Achu Baby John the son of Kerala State Minister Shibu Baby John, who previously co-produced “Malaikottai Vaaliban”.
The announcement arrived with an intriguing motion poster featuring the silhouettes of a man, two women, and two children. Mohanlal, who recently starred in "Drishyam 3", also shared a brief promo showing floating building fragments that unite to reveal the actor seated within a wide-open doorway.

National Award-winning writer Syam Pushkaran has penned the script alongside Paulson Skaria. This marks Syam’s fourth consecutive project with Dileesh, following hits like “Maheshinte Prathikaaram” and “Joji”, while it serves as Paulson’s first collaboration with the duo. Paulson is well-known for co-writing acclaimed titles like “Kaathal: The Core” and “Neymar”. Production for the film will take place across the scenic locales of Thiruvananthapuram, Idukki, and Chennai.
Dileesh Pothan has also retained his frequent collaborator Shyju Khalid as the cinematographer. The high-profile technical crew features a lineup of prominent industry talent, including music director Sushin Shyam, who recently did “Balan the Boy”, editor Saiju Sreedharan, production designer Ajayan Chalissery, costume designer Mashar Hamsa, and makeup artist Ronex Xavier.
In recent years, Mohanlal has balanced large-scale movies with character-driven dramas with films such as “L2: Empuraan,” “Thudarum,” “Hridayapoorvam” and “Drishyam 3.” The actor was last seen in “Drishyam 3,” which continued Georgekutty's story and further cemented the franchise's enduring popularity with audiences. The film, written and directed by Jeethu Joseph, also featured stars Mohanlal, alongside Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Kalabhavan Shajon, Siddique, Murali Gopy and Asha Sharath.
