In bringing Homer’s The Odyssey” to the big screen, Nolan assembled a powerhouse ensemble that packed an absolute punch, grounding mythic gods, tragic royals and brutal battlegrounds with raw human gravitas.

He stars in Jason Bateman’s legal thriller “The Partner”, adapted from the John Grisham bestseller. Additionally, he’s set to share the screen with Austin Butler in the 1980s racing drama “American Speed”, before stepping into the dance shoes of Hollywood icon Fred Astaire for Paul King’s upcoming biopic.
Zendaya (Athena)
Stepping into the divine robes of Athena, Zendaya brought a serene yet commanding presence to Nolan's pantheon. Looking ahead, she reunites with Denis Villeneuve for “Dune: Part Three”, returning as Chani to wrap up the sci-fi saga. Beyond Arrakis and she’ll lend her voice to DreamWorks' “Shrek 5” in 2027.
Robert Pattinson (Antinous)
Pattinson delivered a deliciously ruthless turn as the lead suitor Antinous. Next, he stars in A24's "Primetime", directed by veteran documentary filmmaker Lance Oppenheim (Ren Faire). The film fictionalizes the origin story of the infamous Dateline NBC true-crime segment To Catch a Predator, with Pattinson playing a host investigating suspected child predators. From there, he joins Denis Villeneuve's sci-fi epic "Dune: Part Three" as the shapeshifting villain Scytale and makes a return to Gotham as he prepares to don the cowl once again for Matt Reeves in "The Batman Part II".
Charlize Theron (Calypso)
Theron delivered an imposing, transformative performance, bringing the mythical Cyclops to life. On camera, she moves into production on the thriller “Tyrant” (which she also produces) and Apple TV+'s heist film “Two for the Money.” Behind the scenes, her producer slate is equally stacked: she’s executive producing the slasher adaptation “The Final Girl Support Group” and producing the Philip K. Dick biographical drama “Jane”, while a long-awaited “Atomic Blonde 2” remains in active development.
Benny Safdie (Agamemnon)
Safdie brought intensity to the doomed Mycenaean king Agamemnon. Off-screen, Benny Safdie’s upcoming slate heavily prioritizes his career behind the camera, headlined by Lizard Music for Amazon MGM Studios' United Artists. Safdie is writing and directing the live-action/CGI hybrid adaptation of Daniel Pinkwater's 1976 fantasy novel, which is set to star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
Jon Bernthal (Menelaus)
Bernthal’s gritty, battle-hardened Menelaus was a standout in The Odyssey’s opening acts. Moving forward, Bernthal headlines the dark action comedy “Snow Ponies” (directed by Baby Driver stunt coordinator Darrin Prescott), where he leads a crew through a lethal, frozen wilderness to deliver a mysterious package.
Elliot Page (Sinon)
As Sinon, Page provided the emotional camaraderie and battle-tested trauma that enriched the film’s war-torn flashback sequences. Off-screen, Page’s banner Pageboy Productions has optioned the film rights to Eliot Schrefer’s acclaimed sci-fi novel “The Darkness Outside Us”. Billed as a twist-filled space epic, the project anchors an upcoming slate that includes several indie features and pre-production voice work.
Travis Scott (The Bard)
Making a memorable cinematic mark as the wandering Bard, Scott is turning his focus back toward music. Alongside an upcoming stadium tour and new album production, Scott is expanding his behind-the-scenes presence through film scoring and multimedia production ventures.
Mia Goth (Milantho)
Goth brought an alluring, otherworldly danger to Nolan’s epic as the enchanting sorceress Circe. Moving forward, she jumps into a galaxy far, far away with a key role in “Star Wars: Starfighter,” slated for release on May 28, 2027. She is also set to star in Fonda, an upcoming drama slated for a 2027 release that expands her impressive roster of genre-defining work.
