“Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-ups,” headlined by Yash, is set for a grand arrival tomorrow at cinemas across the globe. The period gangster actioner has garnered an astounding response from cinegoers. While it is on track to become one of the biggest openers in Indian cinema history, what is grabbing attention is the huge difference between its most expensive and cheapest ticket prices.
The costliest tickets for the film are at PVR Directors Cut at Ambience Mall in Gurugram and Delhi, where a single recliner prime seat is priced at ₹2,400. Meanwhile, the cheapest ticket is available at Chennai’s Kasi Talkies Dolby Atmos, where a ticket costs just ₹54.
In its advance bookings, Karnataka has emerged as the biggest contributor, given that it is Yash’s home state, followed by Maharashtra and Gujarat. Going by the current scenario, the film is expected to earn over ₹100 crore on its opening day in the domestic market, a feat previously achieved by “Baahubali 2,” “KGF 2,” “RRR,” “Pushpa 2,” and “Dhurandhar: The Revenge.”
