Shilpa Shetty to Host New Show on ZEE5 (EXCLUSIVE)

Shilpa Shetty is one of the few Hindi film actresses to make the transition from big screen to the small screen effortlessly. A familiar face as a judge on reality television across shows like “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa” (2006), “Zara Nachke Dikha” (2010), “Nach Baliye” (2012–2014), “Super Dancer” (2016–2021) and “India’s Got Talent” (2022-2023), she has also hosted Bigg Boss Season 2 (2008) and Hear Me Love Me (2018). In addition to this, she also made her streaming debut as an actor with Rohit Shetty’s “Police Force” (2024)

Now, close to a decade later, she returns to hosting on streaming platform ZEE5, Variety India has learned. While further details have not been released as yet, it is known that the variety entertainment show is produced by Preeti Simoes and Neeti Simoes, who are among the most successful names in the entertainment industry with production credits for shows like “Comedy Nights with Kapil,” “The Kapil Sharma Show,” “Gangs of Filmistaan” and others. Of late, they produced “Aakhri Sach” on JioHotstar and even Sunita Ahuja’s YouTube show.

The two convinced Shetty to be the face of the show. The collaboration is being seen as a strong and exciting combination of talent and experience from both sides.
