Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt’s ‘7 Dogs’ Sets India Release Date for August 21
Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt are starring in the international thriller “7 Dogs.” While there were no updates about its release in India, Khan shared a post on social media finally announcing the official date of release in the country. The Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi directorial is slated to hit the theatres on August 21.
Salman is slated to make a brief but important appearance in the movie. The details of his character or his scenes have been kept under the wraps. However, a new teaser of the movie shows Khan in one scene, where he is seen smirking. He shared the teaser on social media with the caption, “The countdown to the biggest mission begins!"

The film stars Egyptian actors Karim Abdel-Aziz and Ahmed Ezz in the leading roles. It is produced by Turki Al-Sheikh, who is reportedly a close friend to Salman and Sanjay. The Indian actors had flown to Riyadh in February 2025 to film their scenes in three days.
The plot of the movie reads, “‘7 Dogs’ revolves around an Interpol officer named Khalid Al-Azzazi who apprehends Ghali Abu Dawood, a high-ranking member of a clandestine global crime syndicate known as ‘7 Dogs.’ When a year later, the organisation resurfaces and begins trafficking a new drug called Pink Lady across the Middle East, Khalid must reluctantly join forces with Ghali, the only person with intimate knowledge of the syndicate’s operations."

Another professional update regarding Salman Khan involves his upcoming movie “Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace.” The actor is starring alongside Chitrangda Singh. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the release date of the film hasn’t been announced yet.
