‘Ohh My Dog’ Review: A Paw-sitively Thrilling Tale Of Courage, Crime And Canine Loyalty
The emotional journey of “Ohh My Dog” begins with a solemn farewell to Senapati, an honored police service dog whose funeral sets a touching standard for canine bravery. Her devoted trainer Rajale, played by Jitendra Joshi, carries a heavy heart, deeply regretting that Senapati was separated from her litter when inducted into service. Yet, as his senior officer reassuringly points out, her bloodline is destined for greatness. That sentiment proves to be a fur-tastic understatement as her two puppies, Momo and Oscar, embark on two wildly distinct yet equally gripping adventures to make their late mother proud.
Up north in Assam, we meet Apu, played by Mahi Rai, a young genius whose sharp mind works faster than a computer. When his beloved furry friend (Momo) goes missing, Apu refuses to sit and stay. Arming himself with high-tech grit and his trusty tablet, he stays several steps ahead of corrupt law enforcement officials. His relentless hunting uncovers a dark, sinister plot involving dogs being kidnapped and smuggled across the border for meat. Apu uses his intellect like a true leader of the pack, determined to track down the criminals and bring his companion back home safely.

Meanwhile in Bhopal, the story shifts to Prince, played by Nikhil Kumar, a hardworking child laborer whose pet dog Oscar takes center stage in a bone-afide display of heroics. Waking up one morning to find Prince missing, Oscar delivers an absolute Oscar-winning performance. Utilizing his superior sense of smell, the persistent pup sniffs out clues and rallies Prince's friends along with the respected local masterji, portrayed by Pankaj Tripathi. Their noble search hits a major snag in the form of a corrupt police officer, played by Rajesh Kumar, who actively obstructs the ongoing investigation.
Undeterred by human greed, Oscar unleashes a fur-ocious response against the local mafia running a horrifying kidney-smuggling syndicate that captured Prince. Across the country, Apu completes his own paw-some crusade, locating not only Momo but also halting an entire truck packed with innocent animals ready to cross the border.
