Millie Bobby Brown: ‘India Is On My Bucket List. I’d Like To Do A Comedy There, I’m A Funny Girl!’ (EXCLUSIVE)

The “Enola Holmes” franchise has always been a whirlwind ride. With high-stakes action, witty fourth-wall breaks, family drama, a dash of romance, and a brilliant villain, it packs everything you would typically expect from a blockbuster masala Hindi film. As Millie Bobby Brown returns to the screens as the iconic young detective in “Enola Holmes 3”, it begs the question: could we ever see her making a grand entrance into a Bollywood movie? It sure seems so!

In an exclusive interview with Variety India, she doesn’t hesitate for a single second and says she would love to do a movie in India.

"Absolutely. I'll never say no. India is on my bucket list. I really, really want to go," she shared enthusiastically.

Warn her that a Bollywood film means she would have to be ready to dance, the actress embraces the idea. "Are you joking? I love to dance," she laughs, revealing exactly what kind of genre she’d love to conquer next. "I'm down for anything, really. A comedy... I'm a funny girl."

Her co-star Louis Partridge is just as eager to hop on a flight, chiming in to say, "I'll come to India, too. Yeah. Just to tag along. I'd love to explore." Though Millie playfully points out that Louis "doesn't dance as well," Louis jokes he’s still ready for the challenge: "Yeah, put me on a hot ground."

Beyond the comedy and dancing, Millie is no stranger to heavy-duty stunts. Reflecting on her growth as an action hero, she opens up about how her character's physical style changed behind the scenes.

"In ‘Enola Holmes 1’ and ‘Enola Holmes 2’, I did a lot of action scenes. There was a lot of physicality in my fighting. However, it took a lot for me to agree to holding a gun because there was so much about Enola's weaponry that was in her body and her strength. But yes, this time around she does have tools and accessories in her armor. It was really fun."
