‘Haiwaan’ Teaser: Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan to Share a Glimpse Into Priyadarshan’s Thriller on August 12
The Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan-starrer “Haiwaan” will release its anticipated teaser on August 12. Apart from the two leads, the film also stars Boman Irani, Saiyami Kher and Shriya Pilgaonkar in crucial characters. The Priyadarshan directorial is a reunion between Kumar and Khan in the main roles for the first time since the 2008 film “Tashan.”

The film is an official remake of the 2016 Malayalam thriller “Oppam” as a cat-and-mouse survival thriller where the lines between a predator and its prey are blurred. Kumar is gearing up to play the role of a relentless psychopathic killer whose next target is a young girl. He hunts for a family’s child and leads a high-octane chase that can only be stopped by the genius of a man with heightened senses. Khan will get into the shoes of a blind martial artist who will do everything in his power to save her.
The contrast between Kumar and Khan’s roles as a ruthless killer and a powerful and grounded savior has raised expectations for the release.

Produced under the banners of KVN Productions and Thespian Films by Venkat K Narayana and Shailaja Desai Fenn, the film includes a special cameo appearance by Malayalam superstar Mohanlal. Following its teaser release on August 11, the project is eyeing a global theatrical release a month later, on September 11.
