‘Drishyam: The Conclusion’: Lucky Ali, Rochak Kohli and Manoj Muntashir Join Forces For 2nd Song ‘Muskura Do’

The second song from the upcoming final edition of the “Drishyam” franchise has been released. “Muskura Do” is the latest revelation from the “Drishyam: The Conclusion” album. Sung by Lucky Ali, composed by Rochak Kohli and written by Manoj Muntashir talks about the little joys of life that make it worthwhile. 

The lyrics of “Muskura Do” talk about the one thing that Vijay Salgaonkar has tried his best to protect: his family, with its warm tone. The song is currently available to stream across all music streaming platforms following its release on September 23. 

Singer Lucky Ali said, “What I liked about ‘Muskura Do’ was how naturally the song comes to you. There is no need to push the emotion because the feeling is already there. It reminded me of those simple moments with family where nothing special has to happen for you to feel happy. I wanted to keep my singing close to that feeling and let the song remain as natural as possible.”

Composer Rochak Kohli wanted it to be a family song in contrast to the film's serious tone. Aiming to give the audience a breather from the gripping nature of the project, they sought out Ali as the singer. Meanwhile, Manoj Muntashir focused on the essence of family being made of small moments and sharing normal days as if they were something special. The makers tried to keep the song more conversational rather than making it specifically for the film's plot.

The film slips away from the story of the Malayalam original starring Mohanlal on which it is based. The third film in the base lineup was released on May 20 earlier this year. Producer Antony Perumbavoor has already confirmed "Drishyam 4," with Jeethu Joseph returning to direct.

Starring Ajay Devgn, Jaideep Ahlawat, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav, “Drishyam: The Conclusion” will wrap up the franchise as the third film in the lineup. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, it has been produced by him alongside Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Sanjeev Joshi. “Drishyam: The Conclusion” releases in cinemas worldwide on October 2.
