‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Cast Assembles In Star-Studded ‘Silence Your Phones’ PSA
Marvel Studios has found a suitably star-studded way to deliver one of the simplest rules of cinema etiquette: silence your phones. The studio has released a new “Silence Your Phones” PSA featuring several members of the “Avengers: Doomsday” cast, following its theatrical debut alongside “Avengers Endgame: Encore.”
The 31-second spot initially plays like a scene from “Avengers: Doomsday”, showing Doctor Doom confronting Thor before the action is interrupted by the sound of a ringing phone. The footage then cuts to a packed theatre, where several of the film’s superheroes are watching the sequence and reacting to the disruption.
Among those featured are Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Letitia Wright as Shuri, Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Channing Tatum as Gambit, James Marsden as Cyclops and Rebecca Romijn as Mystique. David Harbour, Tenoch Huerta Mejía, Hannah John-Kamen, Winston Duke and Joaquin Torres are also seen in the spot.

The PSA ends with a straightforward message asking audiences to “Please Silence Your Phones”, turning a familiar cinema reminder into another piece of “Avengers: Doomsday” promotion. The campaign also gives audiences another glimpse at the enormous ensemble that Marvel has assembled for the upcoming multiverse film.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, “Avengers: Doomsday” brings together characters from the Avengers, Fantastic Four and X-Men, with Robert Downey Jr. returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Doctor Doom. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on December 18, 2026.
