Producers Slate: From YRF to Dharma, Here’s a Bird’s-Eye View of Their Upcoming Lineup

The Hindi film industry is currently riding high on the phenomenal success of “Dhurandhar 2”, which has turned into a box office sensation and is quickly moving towards becoming the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time. Before that, we witnessed “Border 2” crossing the 300-crore mark in January, kickstarting the year on a promising note. With momentum firmly on its side, Bollywood’s leading production houses are gearing up with an expansive slate of films across genres and scales.

Bollywood’s top production companies such as Yash Raj Films, Dharma Productions, Maddock Films, T-Series and Excel Entertainment have an impressive lineup of movies in various stages of production. Here's a detailed look at what lies ahead for them:

Note: The list also includes the projects that haven’t been announced yet but are surely in the making. These production companies might have many other projects in various stages of development that we might not be aware of.

YASH RAJ FILMS:

  1. Alpha — Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor-starrer “Alpha” is the first female-led and seventh spy actioner overall in Yash Raj Films’ popular “Spy Universe”. The film takes forward the action-packed universe following the events in Hrithik Roshan's and Jr NTR’s “War 2”. After months-long rumours about its OTT release, the makers recently announced its theatrical arrival for July 10, 2026.

  2. Ahaan Panday’s Next — Following the massive commercial success of “Saiyaara”, YRF is turning the loverboy Ahaan into an action hero with Ali Abbas Zafar’s yet-untitled action romance film. Sharvari is paired opposite him, with “Nishaanchi” actor Aaishvary Thackeray playing the antagonist. The film begins shooting soon in Mumbai.

  3. Mohit Suri’s Next — YRF is not letting Mohit Suri go after the “Saiyaara” success and has signed him for another sweeping romance drama. He is currently writing the screenplay, with plans to begin shooting by the end of this year. Although Aditya Roy Kapur was rumoured to be starring in this film, the director has clarified that no actor is locked for it yet.

  4. Krrish 4 — Aditya Chopra will produce this film in collaboration with Rakesh Roshan’s Filmkraft Productions, with Hrithik Roshan starring as well as directing the film. The project is currently in the preparation stage but still far from locking the production timelines, as they are still deciding on several aspects of the VFX-heavy spectacle. Hrithik and Aditya are expected to finalize the production details soon, targeting a shoot from the last quarter of 2026.

  5. Ayushmann Khurrana's Next — YRF and Posham Pa Pictures are teaming up on a thriller drama starring Ayushmann in the lead. Details of the project are unknown yet, but sources say it will go on floors in the second half of this year.
