‘The Paradise’ Box Office: Nani Scores His Biggest Opening With Advance Sales Alone
Nani-starrer “The Paradise” has hit the screens and has opened to a strong response at the box office, setting a new benchmark for its lead actor. The action thriller has crossed the ₹40 crore mark worldwide in advance sales for its opening day, making it Nani’s biggest opener even before the first show. With this, the film has surpassed “Hit 3” (₹37.81 crore). With advance bookings crossing ₹40 crore, the film's first-day business is now projected to be over ₹50 crore.
Apart from this milestone, it has also registered one of the highest occupancies for a Telugu film, at around 70% in the morning shows, beating Chiranjeevi’s “Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu.” “The Paradise” is also performing well in Chennai and Bengaluru, as well as in its home states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
While “The Paradise” will definitely emerge as one of the year's biggest openers, it will rely on word of mouth to sustain momentum at the ticket windows.

The film has received an ‘A’ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and has a runtime of 2 hours and 49 minutes. During certification, the film underwent several modifications, including cuts to violent scenes and changes to certain visuals and dialogue.
