Apart from being a solo release, it will also enjoy a clean run for two weeks with no big movies arriving on July 24.
Based on Homer's “Odyssey”, the movie features Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Samantha Morton, Zendaya and Charlize Theron in pivotal roles. The music and camera departments are handled by Nolan’s frequent collaborators, Ludwig Goransson and Hoyte van Hoytema. It is the first film to be shot entirely on IMAX's 70 mm film cameras.
