Taylor Swift has entered two tracks, “The Fate of Ophelia” and “I Knew It, I Knew You,” for consideration at the 2027 Grammy Awards. According to Billboard, both songs have been submitted in the Record of the Year category. She has submitted “The Fate of Ophelia” for Record of the Year and “Toy Story 5” track “I Knew It, I Knew You” for Song of the Year.
This development comes amid Drake not submitting his three 2026 albums or any of the songs from them for Grammy Awards consideration. This pulls him out of the competition altogether. K-Pop acts like BTS and Stray Kids have also not submitted their music for the 2027 Grammys.

The 2025 song “The Fate of Ophelia” had garnered positive reactions from Swift’s fans. Opening up about working on the track and curating a live performance around it, the singer had once penned, “Writing, rehearsing, directing and shooting the music video for 'The Fate of Ophelia' was the thrill of a lifetime because I got to be reunited with my Eras Tour family!! I wanted each one-take scene to feel like a live performance and remind us all of how it felt to be at those shows together. Making every moment count.
